Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) is a globally recognized non-profit organization and think tank established in 1993 in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Founded by Father Hermann Bacher (known as the father of the participatory watershed movement in India) and Crispino Lobo, WOTR grew out of the Indo-German Watershed Development Program (IGWDP) launched in 1989.
