What does Urban Ecology even mean today? Do our cities acknowledge the role of ecology in their functioning, or the responsibility they carry towards it? Do we account for water, soil and biodiversity that matter to our existence as we set goals for our cities? How do citizens get involved, participate in both taking on responsibility and asking for accountability around this? In light of the climate crisis, the Foundation decided to support Janaagraha to take on these questions for policy inputs and urban planning.
