WWF-India’s Tech for Conservation division is dedicated to leveraging advanced technology for conservation efforts across India. The team supports geospatial analysis, develops tools and applications, and integrates machine learning to assist various conservation projects.
About The Role
The role involves administering and maintaining the ArcGIS Enterprise environment, developing web applications, conducting geo-statistical consultancy, creating simulation models, and managing ArcGIS online services. You will work closely with stakeholders to provide technical solutions and insights for WWF-India’s conservation efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- ArcGIS Enterprise Management: Administer and maintain the entire ArcGIS Enterprise environment for both internal and external users.
- Application Development: Develop and maintain web applications for private and public GIS users.
- Geo-Statistical Consultancy: Provide consultancy on statistical analysis and develop custom geo-statistical tools.
- Simulation & Prediction Models: Create simulation models using ArcGIS Pro, including 2D and 3D data analysis.
- Custom Tool Development: Develop and deploy custom tools for geo-coding, statistical analysis, and network analysis as utility services.
- Automation with Python Scripts: Automate backend workflows using Python scripts for efficient task management.
- Machine Learning Integration: Deploy machine learning and deep learning models for predictive geospatial analysis.
- Digital Field Surveys: Design and implement digital field surveys with Survey123 & ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare monthly reports on project activities, and assist in project presentations and reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Online management.
- Experience in web application development and GIS data management.
- Strong background in geo-statistical analysis and custom tool development.
- Proficient in Python scripting for task automation.
- Knowledge of machine learning and deep learning for GIS applications.
- Skilled in Survey123 and ArcGIS Enterprise for field data collection.
- Strong communication skills for preparing reports and presentations.
